Stress comes in all shapes and sizes, but it is important to remember that whenever you are starting to experience stress that you need to DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! Keep your body healthy and maintain an equilibrium of calm from within; don’t just let your body sit in a state of stress. Try combating stress with various relaxation techniques:

  • have a cup of herbal tea
  • star gaze 
  • try some calming breathing exercises
  • enjoy a warm shower
  • listen to soothing music- classical, zen
  • go for a walk along the waterfront or through a park
  • release your stress and go for a run
  • read a book
  • fill your room with calming/fresh scents – essential oils
  • try some beginner yoga
  • organize your living space 
  • pamper yourself – spa day
